Fife windows

If you are looking for bespoke modern double or triple glazed windows to upgrade your home’s energy efficiency, security, and appearance in a single stroke, look no further than uPVC windows from The Advanced Group.

When it comes to design and sustainability no one can match us, with our windows available in an incredible number of different styles.

All our window designs have been carefully manufactured using the very latest most sustainable techniques at one of Europe’s most advanced extrusion facilities.

Advanced uPVC window designs feature
  • Frames made from 80% recycled materials
  • Energy reflecting glass
  • Fully welded robust frames
  • Internally glazed glass
  • 600 hours of salt spray testing
  • And much more…
Benefits of our uPVC include:

Exceptional energy efficiency

Energy bills are higher than ever and properly insulated windows and doors are critical to keeping heat in and bills down.

When choosing new windows this should be one of your top priorities and we have worked hard to bring our valued customers the most energy efficient windows on the market. Our standard double glazing achieves superb A rated U-values of just 1.4 W/m2K (the lower the U-value the better). By utilising argon gas and Soft Coat Xtra, this can be reduced to as low as a remarkable 0.8 W/m2K in our triple glazed units.

Impressive security features

All our windows come with welded frames, multi-point locking systems, and strong hinges as standard and are durability tested for 3x longer than the industry standard.

They are also internally glazed so the beading cannot be removed from the exterior.

Quality glazing

Both our double and triple glazed uPVC windows are fitted with energy reflecting glass to maximise solar energy and minimise heat transfer. They will keep you cool in the summer and retain heat in the colder months.

They are also separated by thermospacer bars, to reduce the chance of cold spots forming near the edge of the glass and resulting in condensation on the inside pane.

Window Styles

We have a massive selection of window types, styles, and designs to choose from.

Casement windows

Offering fantastic versatility and a classic look in almost any setting, the casement window is the UK’s most popular window choice. It can either be hinged from the top of the frame, or the side, but either way, you will enjoy excellent energy efficiency and durability.

French windows

Slightly less common than the similarly designed french doors, french windows work in the same way with two windows meeting in the middle that can be opened alone or as a pair.

This incredibly stylish window gives your home the wow factor and gives you complete control over ventilation and access. They can even be used as a fire escape if both sides are opened wide.

Top hung windows

Tilting outwards from the bottom, top hung windows are great for keeping out the rain and if you live in Fife you can probably see why this makes them a popular choice in the area.

Tilt and Turn windows

Similar to the classic casement window, tilt and turn windows utilise a clever hinge system to allow them to be opened either from the top or side, depending on your preference on a day-to-day basis. When turned open, these windows give a large opening that can be used for emergency exit if needed.

Sash Windows

Sash windows have been popular for many centuries and after falling out of fashion for a while they are now back with a bang.

Conforming to all modern requirements of safety and energy efficiency, sash windows allow you to maximise the character of older style properties, making them perfect for conservation projects or those looking for a more traditional aesthetic.

Fife Doors

If you are looking for highly durable doors that maximise the safety of your loved ones whilst showing off your style and offering fantastic energy efficiency ratings, our range of uPVC and composite doors is perfect for your needs.

We have an incredible range of highly bespoke doors in a huge selection of different styles from traditional timber grain effects to contemporary urban designs that really make an impression.

You won’t find a company in Fife with a better selection of new doors for you to choose from.

Our uPVC Doors

When it comes to choosing new external doors for your property, you can’t go wrong with uPVC. This material is highly durable, flexible, and easy to maintain. it is no fluke that uPVC doors have dominated the door market in Scotland for many decades now.

Advanced uPVC doors feature
  • 70mm high performance frame
  • 15-year guarantee
  • A-rated energy efficiency
  • Lifespan of 40-80 years
  • Multipoint locking system
  • And much more…
Benefits of our uPVC doors include:

Style

Your front door says a lot about your home. It is the first thing that people see when they visit your property and no material gives you more control over the exact design you are looking for than uPVC.

Security

Stylish doors are great, but the safety and security of your home and loved ones must always come first. uPVC is extremely strong and will take a long time for an intruder to force access. To reinforce our doors we have added multi-point locking systems, and impact resistant panels. Reinforced and laminated glass designs are also available.

Energy efficiency

Energy efficiency is the watch phrase of the day at the moment and your doors can either make or break your home’s ability to retain heat and save you money.

Our uPVC doors are designed to be as energy efficient as possible and prevent heat escaping through the panels or glass.

Composite doors

If you are looking for industry leading security and energy efficiency, a new composite door is exactly what you need.

Whilst uPVC doors are made out of a single material, as strong as it is, composite doors use a combination of PVC, glass, polyurethane foam, and a solid timber core.

This creates an incredibly durable and strong final product that will keep you warm for much less this winter with a ‘Global Warming Potential’ score of below five and an ‘Ozone Depletion Potential’ score of zero.

The 70mm profile, combined with a multi-point locking system means homes with composite doors are rarely the victim of burglary as it would take an intruder so long to gain access they will simply decide it isn’t worth the risk or effort. It also means that you are fully protected against the joys of a tough Fife winter!

All of these fantastic features don’t come at the expense of style either, as our Fife composite doors come with more than 15 designs, colours, and finishes.

Door styles

Choosing the right style for your new doors is a big decision. After all, you could be seeing them every single day for many decades.

When we say we have something for everyone here at Advanced, we mean it, with our range of uPVC and composite doors giving you almost unlimited choice when it comes to controlling your home’s aesthetic.

Style options include:

Panel doors

A classic, the panel door has fronted homes across Fife for centuries and offering elegance and durability in equal measure, there is no sign of this changing any time soon. If you are looking for a timeless and traditional gateway to your property whilst enjoying all the benefits of energy efficient modern technology a timber grain effect uPVC or composite panel door is perfect.

French Doors

The ultimate in style and taste. Two separate doors that can be opened separately or together French doors give flawlessly connect your living space with the great outdoors.
