New Windows Battlefield
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

You’ve spotted the temperature shifting in your home. Bills are climbing. Condensation forms on or inside your windows every morning.
That nagging feeling? It’s your windows telling you something.
Over time, older windows start to lose their seal.
The gas between the panes leaks out, the rubber gaskets go rigid and shrink, and what used to block the cold out now barely slows it down.
In a location like Battlefield, where rain and wind are sometimes more frequent than sunshine, worn windows have a clear impact on how warm and pleasant your house feels.
No need to panic about it! The Advanced Group has been doing this for over 38 years. Whether you want new windows for just one room or the whole house of replacement windows and doors, we’ll guide you to the right solution and get it all fitted properly.

Cracked glass? Rotten timber frames? Handles that don’t close right? Some issues are hard to miss.
Other symptoms, though, are less obvious, and by the time you notice, they might have been losing you money for months or even years.

Seeing moisture or fogging between your two panes of glass tells you the sealed unit has failed.
Once that seal fails, the argon gas that delivers insulation leaks out, and your window loses a big chunk of its thermal effectiveness.
Why throw money away on increasing heating bills? Restore your home’s thermal performance with well sealed new windows today.

Try putting your hand near the edges of your window on a windy day. If you feel cold air sneaking through, the seals have deteriorated.
Draught proofing strips may help for a while, but they’re really a sticking plaster on a problem that’ll only deteriorate as the rubber continues to degrading.

If your windows stick, won’t lock correctly, or are difficult to open, this poses both a safety risk and an insulation issue. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms are all signals that the window has reached the end of its working life.
Multi-point locking systems on today’s windows deliver much stronger safety than the single-point catches used in older models, and toughened glass options give an further layer of safety.
Did you realise that windows cause a significant share of heat loss in any property? They’re the bridge between your house and the outside elements.
Your old double glazing? It’s a thing of the past! The energy ratings are way below what’s available today, even if the original spec was good at the time.
New double glazed windows and doors will guard your house from high energy costs.

Every Battlefield home has its own character. The right window type hinges on the property, the room, and how you live in it.
The Advanced Group has a complete range of double glazed and triple glazed windows and doors on offer, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung designs, all supplied and installed by our installers.

The most popular window style in the UK. Side-hinged, opening outwards. Ideal for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
Casement windows match just about any property style, whether it’s a modern house or a traditional property! They come in a huge choice of colours and finishes, and the woodgrain effects replicate real timber without the maintenance or warping risk.

Our sliding sash windows replicate original wooden sash frames. Modern thermal efficiency and security are included as standard.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism mirror the traditional style. That’s essential if your property is in a conservation area or you just want to keep its charm.

Tilt them inward at the top for safe ventilation. Turn them fully inward on a side hinge for simple cleaning. Two functions, one window.
For those living in upper-floor flats, tilt and turn windows are a wise choice, as cleaning the outside of the glass from a ladder isn’t realistic.
The tilt function is a real bonus! You get airflow without the safety concerns of a fully open window, which is particularly great if you’ve got young kids at home.
Hinged at the top, swinging outward from the bottom. Top hung windows give you ventilation and help hold the rain out at the same time.
They are commonly fitted in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window arrangements, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are both needed.

French windows are full-length windows that open outward just like French doors.
Great in pairs. Pair them with sidelights to open up a wide opening with glass and natural light.
The Advanced Group’s specialism is uPVC frame materials, and this decision is supported by good reasons.
uPVC frame materials are especially well suited to the demanding Scottish weather, delivering durability and resilience to harsh, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t suffer from the same warping or rot problems.
And here’s one more bonus: uPVC is incredibly low maintenance!
Just grab it a wipe with soapy water and it’ll look as good as new.
The big benefit? Energy performance. Our uPVC windows use multi-chambered uPVC, and some frames achieve a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That recovers real energy efficiency to your property.
Best of all? uPVC double glazing is the most cost-effective option.
That allows you can often opt for higher-specification glazing without breaking the budget. We also stock glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to go with.
Cold, wet, and windy. That’s Scotland for a fair part of the year.
That climate means the energy efficiency of your windows makes a difference. It affects how much you pay on heating and how cosy your property feels from one day to the next.
Thermal performance is measured by U-value.
The lower that number, the less heat is lost through your glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently require a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows deliver 1.2 W/m2K, and our premium options can reach values as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s high-quality double glazing and triple glazing that operates twice as well as the regulatory minimum.
The evidence? It lands on your energy bills.
A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors with argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings send heat back into the room while still allowing light through.
If you are replacing from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you may see a noticeable drop in your heating spend within the first winter.
A number of double glazing businesses in Battlefield offer entry-level products, but not many can rival the standard of the windows and doors we provide.

Our trusted installers are regularly asked about the triple glazing products we offer.
An extra pane of glass. Better insulation. Improved noise dampening. That’s triple glazing.
If your property is located in an exposed location, up a hill or high above sea level, facing north, or near a busy road or under a flight path, The Advanced Group would be more than willing to guide you through the advantages of triple glazing.

New windows are an investment. Paying all at once isn’t always realistic. We understand that.
That’s exactly why we have available 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit.
It means you get the windows you want and spread the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that works comfortably for you!
