New Windows Belvedere
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Maybe you’ve noticed a shift in temperature around your house. Bills rising. Or condensation sitting on or inside your windows every morning.
Does that sound? Your windows are sending a signal something’s.
The seal on older windows deteriorates over time.
That gas between the panes? It seeps away. The rubber gaskets go rigid and pull away. And what used to keep the cold out no longer does the job.
In Belvedere, where the rain and wind can feel more regular than sunshine, tired windows definitely affect how warm and comfortable your home feels.
However not to worry, The Advanced Group is here to assist with over 38 years of trusted experience. Whether you want new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we can guide you to the right option and get everything fitted properly.

Some issues are easy to spot, like cracked glass, rotten timber frames, and handles that don’t close correctly.
Other signs are trickier to notice. By the time you do, they’ve been costing you money for months or years.

Can you spot moisture or fogging forming between the two sheets of glass? That means the sealed unit has given way.
Once the seal has failed, the argon gas that provides insulation leaks, and the window loses a substantial amount of its thermal efficiency.
Rising heating prices don’t have to drain your wallet. Restore your home’s thermal performance with properly sealed new windows.

Try a quick test: place your hand near the edges of the window on a windy day. If cold air is coming through, the seals have worn out.
Draught proofing strips can help for a while, but they’re a sticking plaster on a fault that will only worsen as the rubber keeps on break down.

Jamming windows that won’t lock right aren’t just frustrating, they’re a safety risk and an insulation issue too. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all signal a window that’s hit the end of its working life.
Multi-point locking systems outperform the old single-point catches for protection. Toughened glass provides extra safety.

Windows leak a significant share of your home’s heat. They’re the barrier between you and the outside weather.
Double glazing from years ago is old news, and the energy ratings will be well below what’s available now, even if the spec was decent when first installed.
Protect your home from high energy bills with new double glazed windows and doors.

Every house in Belvedere is different. The right window choice depends on the house, the room, and how you live in it.
A full lineup of windows and doors, double glazed and triple glazed, is on offer from The Advanced Group, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung styles, all provided and installed by our installers.
Casement windows are likely the most popular window type in the UK. They’re side-hinged and open outwards, making them practical for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
Casement windows work with most property types. Modern houses, traditional properties, everything in between. Available in a wide range of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that deliver the look of timber without the maintenance or warping fear.

The classic look of wooden sash frames, mirrored in every detail. That’s what our sliding sash windows provide, along with modern thermal efficiency and security.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism all match the traditional style, which is brilliant if your property’s in a conservation area or you just want to maintain its character.
Tilt and turn windows are really clever! They tilt inward at the top for safe ventilation and swing fully inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning.
They’re particularly well-liked in upper-floor flats, where climbing up a ladder to clean the outside of the glass is not feasible.
The tilt feature provides airflow without the safety worries associated with a fully open window, which is particularly handy for families with young children.
Top hung windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom, offering a smart choice for ventilation that also helps to keep rain out.
You’ll find top hung windows in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, and bay window configurations, basically anywhere that privacy and airflow are both important.

French windows are full-length panels that open outward, functioning in the same way as French doors.
Ideal in pairs. Combine them with sidelights to flood a wide opening with glass and natural light.

We specialise in uPVC frame materials. And for sound reason.
Scottish weather is unforgiving, and uPVC is built to be durable and resistant to harsh, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t have the same warping or rot concerns.
Better still, uPVC is incredibly low maintenance.
Soapy water and a cloth. That’s all it needs to keep uPVC looking as good as new.
The real benefit? Energy performance. Our uPVC windows use multi-chambered uPVC, and some frames achieve a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That restores genuine energy efficiency to your home.
And better of all? uPVC double glazing is also the most budget-friendly option.
This means you can often fit premium-grade glazing without breaking the budget. We also provide glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.

Let’s be straight, Scotland is cold, wet, and windy for a good chunk of the year!
With weather like that, the energy efficiency of your windows makes a genuine difference to what you pay on heating and how warm your house feels from day to day!
The thermal performance of any window is measured by its U-value.
The lower that number, the less heat gets out through your glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently set a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows come in at 1.2 W/m2K, and the premium models can reach as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s double glazing and triple glazing operating at twice the level of the regulatory minimum.
The difference shows on your energy statements.
A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors, fitted with argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings, work by bouncing heat back into the room while still managing to let light through.
If you’re upgrading from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing, you could notice a clear drop in your heating spend within the first winter.
A lot of double glazing firms in Belvedere supply standard products, but not many can compete with the calibre of the windows and doors we supply.

We get asked about triple glazing a lot.
An extra pane of glass. Better insulation. Improved noise dampening. That’s triple glazing.
If your property is located in an exposed location, up a hill or high above sea level, facing north, or near a busy road or under a flight path, The Advanced Group would be more than pleased to guide you through the benefits of triple glazing.

New windows are an investment. Paying all at once isn’t always possible. We understand that.
So we offer 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit. Straightforward.
It means you can get the windows you deserve by helping you spread the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that works for you.
