New Windows Blantyre
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

A shift in temperature inside the home. Climbing heating costs. Condensation sitting on or inside the windows every morning. Sound familiar?
Does that hit home? Your windows are telling you it’s time for a change.
Over time, older windows start to lose their seal.
The gas between the panes gradually leaks, the rubber gaskets harden and pull back, and what used to blocked the cold out now scarcely makes any difference.
In Blantyre, where the rain and wind can seem more frequent than sunshine, ageing windows truly impact how warm and cosy your house feels.
Not to worry. The Advanced Group offers over 38 years of trusted expertise. Single room or full house, replacement windows or doors, we’ll find the right fit and fit everything correctly.

Certain issues are easy to spot. Cracked glass, rotten timber frames, handles that won’t fasten properly.
Other signs are harder to catch. By the time you do, they’ve been losing you money for months or years.

Moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass is a tell-tale sign. The sealed unit has failed.
The seal gives way, and with it goes the argon gas that delivered the insulation. The window loses a major chunk of its thermal efficiency.
Why throw money away on increasing heating bills? Restore your home’s thermal efficiency with properly sealed new windows today.

Hold your hand near the window edges on a windy day. Cold air getting through? The seals have deteriorated.
Draught proofing strips give a short-term measure, but they’re essentially a sticking plaster on a issue that will only worsen as the rubber goes on to degrade.

Windows that jam, won’t lock correctly, or refuse to open are both a safety risk and an insulation problem. Warped frames, worn hinges, failed mechanisms. The window has come to the end of its useful life.
Multi-point locking systems on modern windows are considerably more safe than the single-point catches on older models, and options like toughened glass provide additional security.
Your windows are responsible for a large amount of the heat loss in your home. They’re the bridge between you and the weather outside.
Double glazing from years ago is a thing of the past, and the energy ratings will be far below what’s on offer now, even if the specification was decent when first installed.
Guard your property from high energy bills with new double glazed windows and doors.

Every Blantyre property has its own personality. The right window type hinges on the building, the room, and how you live in it.
The Advanced Group has a complete range of double glazed and triple glazed windows and doors in stock, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung types, all supplied and fitted by our team.

The most widely fitted window style in the UK. Side-hinged, opening outwards. Ideal for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
They complement most styles of property, from modern houses to traditional houses, and come in a wide selection of colours and finishes. Woodgrain effects replicate the look of timber without the maintenance or worry of warping.

The sliding sash windows we fit recreate the appearance of original wooden sash frames, while offering modern thermal performance and protection.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism follow the traditional design. That’s key if your property is in a conservation area or you just want to preserve its personality.

Tilt them inward at the top for secure ventilation. Turn them completely inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning. Two options, one window.
Common in upper-floor flats. Cleaning the outside from a ladder? Not realistic.
The tilt function provides you airflow without the safety concerns of a fully open window, which is particularly useful for families with young children.
Hinged at the top, swinging outward from the bottom. Top hung windows give you ventilation and help hold the rain out at the same time.
Bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window arrangements, anywhere privacy and airflow both are needed. That’s where top hung windows really shine.

Full-length windows that open outward like French doors. That’s exactly what French windows are.
They look well in pairs and can be combined with sidelights to cover a wide opening with glass and natural light.
The Advanced Group’s speciality is uPVC frame materials, and this choice is supported by solid reasons.
Scottish weather sends everything at your windows. uPVC is built to handle it, hardwearing, resilient to rough, windy, wet conditions, and free from the warping or rot issues that come with timber frames.
Low maintenance is baked in as standard with uPVC.
Just a simple wipe with soapy water and it can look as good as new!
Here’s the genuinely important part: our uPVC windows are seriously energy efficient! Built with multi-chambered uPVC, some of our frames hit a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, which seriously helps bring back your home’s energy performance.
Better of all? uPVC double glazing is the most cost-effective option.
That allows you can often go for higher-spec glazing without stretching the budget. We also carry glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to go with.
Scotland is cold, wet, and windy for a large chunk of the year.
That weather means the energy rating of your windows makes a difference. It shapes how much you pay on heating and how warm your house feels every single day.
U-value. That’s the number that tells you how thermally efficient a window really is.
Lower number, less heat escaping. Scottish building regulations currently set a maximum of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows come in at 1.2 W/m2K, and the premium range can achieve as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s double glazing and triple glazing operating at twice the level of the regulatory minimum.
The difference is reflected on your energy bills.
A-rated windows and doors. Argon gas filled sealed units. Low-E glass coatings. Heat bounced back in, light still getting through.
Upgrading from old single-glazed sash windows or 1990s double glazing? You’ll likely notice a real drop in heating costs within the first winter.
Many double glazing companies in Blantyre sell entry-level products, but few can match the standard of the windows and doors we install.

Our trusted installers often get asked about our triple glazing range.
An extra pane of glass. Stronger insulation. Greater noise control. That’s triple glazing.
If your house is in an exposed location, up a hill, facing north, or near a busy road or flight path, The Advanced Group is more than happy to talk you through the advantages of triple glazing.

We know that new windows are an investment, and paying for them all at once isn’t always realistic.
That’s why we have 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit, making the whole thing much more manageable!
