New Windows Callander
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

A shift in temperature around the house. Rising heating costs. Condensation collecting on or inside the windows every morning. Sound familiar?
That familiar feeling? It’s your windows letting you they’re past their best.
Old windows lose their seal as the years pass.
Between the panes, the gas seeps away. The rubber gaskets stiffen and contract. What once kept the cold out now hardly slows it down.
Callander has its fair share of rain and wind, frequently more than sunshine. When your windows are worn, you feel the difference in how warm and comfortable your home stays.
Not to worry. The Advanced Group has over 38 years of trusted experience. Single room or full house, replacement windows or doors, we’ll find the right option and fit everything properly.

The obvious ones stand out. Cracked glass, rotten timber frames, handles that won’t lock properly.
Other signs are trickier to catch. By the time you realise, they’ve been costing you money for months or years.

Noticing moisture or fogging between your two panes of glass means the sealed unit has given up.
The seal goes. The argon gas escapes out. The window loses a large chunk of its thermal efficiency.
Climbing heating bills don’t have to drain your wallet. Recover your home’s thermal efficiency with properly sealed new windows.

Try putting your hand near the edges of your window on a windy day. If you feel cold air coming through, the seals have deteriorated.
Sure, draught proofing strips can do something for a bit, but they’re really a sticking plaster. The fault only deteriorates as the rubber keeps degrading.

Windows that catch, won’t close properly, or refuse to open are both a safety risk and an insulation issue. Warped frames, worn hinges, failed mechanisms. The window has reached the end of its functional life.
Multi-point locking systems on modern windows are far more safe than the single-point catches on older windows, and options like toughened glass give additional security.
Windows are responsible for a significant share of heat loss in any property. Your window is the boundary between you and the outside world.
Old double glazing can’t keep up. The energy ratings are significantly below what’s on offer today, even if the original spec was solid when first fitted.
Shield your house from high energy bills. New double glazed windows and doors deliver the difference.

Every Callander home has its own personality. The right window choice depends on the building, the room, and how you occupy it.
The Advanced Group stocks and fits a full range of windows and doors in double glazed and triple glazed options, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung designs.

The most common window style in the UK. Side-hinged, opening outwards. Ideal for ventilation and easy to clean from inside.
Casement windows match just about any property kind, whether it’s a modern build or a traditional house! They are offered in a big range of colours and finishes, and the woodgrain effects look just like real timber without the maintenance or warping risk.

The original look of wooden sash frames, mirrored in every detail. That’s what our sliding sash windows deliver, along with modern thermal performance and protection.
Proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism all mirror the traditional look. Ideal for conservation areas or preserving your property’s charm.

Tilt inward at the top for safe ventilation. Turn fully inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning.
Upper-floor flat? Cleaning outside glass from a ladder isn’t realistic. Tilt and turn windows fix that challenge easily.
The tilt function delivers airflow without security risks. Particularly valuable for families with young children.
Hinged at the top, opening outward from the bottom. Sensible for ventilation and effective at keeping rain out.
They’re often fitted in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window configurations, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are just as important.

Think of them as full-length windows that open outward, exactly like French doors. That’s French windows in a nutshell.
Paired together, they look brilliantly and can be paired with sidelights to fill a wide opening with glass and natural light.
The Advanced Group specialises in uPVC frame materials for good reasons.
uPVC frame materials are especially well suited to the unforgiving Scottish weather, providing hardwearing performance and resilience to harsh, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t present the same warping or rot problems.
And there’s another bonus: uPVC is really low maintenance!
Simply wipe it down with soapy water and it can look fresh.
The real benefit? Energy efficiency. Our uPVC windows are built with multi-chambered uPVC, and some frames reach a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That recovers real energy efficiency to your property.
And best of all? uPVC double glazing is also the most affordable option.
Higher-specification glazing without exceeding the budget? That’s what uPVC makes. We also stock glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.
For a large portion of the year, Scotland’s weather is cold, wet, and windy.
With that environment, your windows’ energy performance directly influences your heating bills and how cosy your property feels day to day.
A window’s thermal efficiency is measured by what’s known as its U-value.
A lower figure means less heat getting out through the glass and frame. At present, Scottish building regulations demand a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Standard double glazed windows: 1.2 W/m2K. Premium options: as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s twice as effective as the regulatory minimum.
That performance gain is visually visible on your energy costs.
A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors feature argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings to reflect heat back into the room, all while allowing natural light through.
If you’re moving from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you could see a noticeable drop in your heating spend within the first winter.
While many double glazing companies in Callander offer basic products, few can match the standard of the windows and doors we supply.

Our trusted installers are often asked about our triple glazing products.
An extra pane of glass. Better insulation. Greater noise dampening. That’s triple glazing.
If your property is perched in an exposed location, up a hill, facing north, or near a busy road or under a flight path, get in touch! The Advanced Group would be more than glad to walk you through the upsides of triple glazing.

We fully appreciate that new windows are an investment, and paying for everything at once isn’t always realistic.
That’s exactly why we have available 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit.
It means you get the windows you need and spread the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that suits perfectly for you!
