New Windows Clackmannan
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

A change in temperature throughout the house. Climbing bills. Condensation forming on or inside the windows come morning. Sound familiar?
Sound familiar? Your windows are sending you a signal.
The seal on older windows deteriorates over time.
The gas between the panes gradually escapes, the rubber gaskets harden and shrink, and what used to held the cold out now hardly makes any difference.
Clackmannan gets its fair share of rain and wind, often more than sunshine. When your windows are past their best, you notice the difference in how warm and snug your house stays.
However not to worry, The Advanced Group is here to help with over 38 years of trusted experience. Whether you want new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we can help you find the right fit and get everything installed correctly.

Some issues are obvious. Cracked glass, rotten timber frames, handles that don’t close correctly.
Some signs sneak under the radar though, and by the time you pick up on them, they’ve been silently costing you money for months or even years.

Can you notice moisture or fogging forming between the two sheets of glass? That means the sealed unit has failed.
Once the seal has broken, the argon gas responsible for insulation escapes, and the window loses a substantial amount of its thermal efficiency.
Quit throwing money away on increasing heating bills. Restore your home’s thermal efficiency with well sealed new windows.

A windy day shows you a lot. Hold your hand near the edges of the window. Cold air sneaking through tells you the seals have deteriorated.
Draught proofing strips give a short-term solution, but they’re essentially a sticking plaster on a problem that will only get worse as the rubber continues to degrade.

Seizing windows that won’t lock properly aren’t just frustrating, they’re a safety risk and an insulation problem too. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all signal a window that’s come to the end of its working life.
Multi-point locking systems outperform the old single-point catches for security. Toughened glass gives extra protection.
Your windows are where a significant share of your home’s heat gets out. That thin barrier between you and the outside world counts more than most people think.
Old double glazing doesn’t keep up. The energy ratings are well below what’s on offer today, even if the original specification was decent when first fitted.
Shield your house from high energy bills with new double glazed windows and doors.

Clackmannan homes vary across all forms, and the right window style depends on your building, the room, and how you occupy it.
The Advanced Group delivers a full choice of windows and doors in both double glazed and triple glazed options, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung designs.

Casement windows could well be the UK’s most popular window style! They’re side-hinged, open outwards, and are great for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
Casement windows fit with most property types. Modern builds, traditional houses, the lot in between. On offer in a wide choice of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that give the look of timber without the maintenance or warping risk.

Love the appearance of original wooden sash frames? Our sliding sash windows mirror that classic look while providing modern thermal performance and safety.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism are all made to follow the traditional look, which is particularly relevant if your property is in a conservation area or you wish to preserve its character.

These windows tilt inward at the top for secure ventilation and turn fully inward on a side hinge for simple cleaning.
They’re especially well-liked in upper-floor flats, where climbing up a ladder to clean the outside of the glass isn’t feasible.
The tilt function provides airflow without the security worries associated with a fully open window, which is particularly helpful for families with young children.
Top hung windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom, providing a practical choice for ventilation that also helps to keep rain out.
They are often fitted in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window configurations, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are equally important.

French windows are full-length panels that open outward, operating similar to French doors.
Pair them up and combine them with sidelights, and you can flood a wide opening with glass and natural light. The result is striking.
The Advanced Group focuses in uPVC frame materials, and for really good reasons!
uPVC frame materials are particularly well suited to the demanding Scottish climate, delivering hardwearing performance and resistance to rough, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t present the same warping or rot issues.
And there’s another benefit: uPVC is seriously low maintenance!
Soapy water and a wipe. That’s all it needs to keep uPVC looking as good as new.
Quite possibly most significantly, our uPVC windows deliver high levels of energy performance. Designed with multi-chambered uPVC, some of our frames achieve a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, helping to restore energy efficiency in your house.
And the best part? uPVC double glazing is the most affordable option out there.
That means you can often go for higher-specification glazing without breaking the budget. We also stock glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.
Scotland delivers cold, wet, and windy weather for a good portion of the year.
With that climate, your windows’ energy efficiency really impacts your heating costs and how warm your house feels day to day.
Know about U-values? That’s how the thermal performance of any window is measured.
The lower the number, the less heat gets out through the glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently demand a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows achieve 1.2 W/m2K, and our premium models can achieve values as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s superior double glazing and triple glazing that operates twice as well as the regulatory minimum.
You’ll notice the difference on your energy costs.
A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors, supplied with argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings, function by bouncing heat back into the room while still managing to let light through.
If you’re upgrading from old single-glazed sash windows or dated double glazing, you could notice a real drop in your heating bills within the first winter.
There are lots of double glazing firms in Clackmannan offering standard products, but not many can match the standard of what we fit.

Our experienced installers are often asked about our triple glazing options.
An extra pane of glass. Improved insulation. Improved noise dampening. That’s triple glazing.
If your property is situated in an exposed area, up a hill or high above sea level, facing north, or near a busy road or under a flight path, The Advanced Group would be more than happy to guide you through the advantages of triple glazing.

New windows are an investment, and we understand that paying for them all at once isn’t always possible.
