New Windows Helensburgh
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

You’ve spotted the temperature shifting in your home. Energy bills are up. Condensation gathers on or inside your windows every morning.
Sound familiar? Your windows are telling you a message.
As windows get older, they gradually lose their seal.
The gas between the panes gradually leaks, the rubber gaskets go rigid and pull back, and what once kept the cold out now hardly makes any difference.
In Helensburgh, where the rain and wind can seem more common than sunshine, tired windows really affect how warm and comfortable your home feels.
The Advanced Group is here to help, with over 38 years of trusted service. Whether you need new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we’ll help you find the right option and make sure everything is fitted correctly.

Cracked glass? Rotten timber frames? Handles that don’t close right? Some signs are hard to miss.
But then there are the subtle signs. The ones you don’t notice until they’ve already been costing you money for months, perhaps years.

Moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass is a tell-tale sign. The sealed unit has failed.
Once that seal breaks, the argon gas that provides insulation leaks out, and your window loses a big amount of its thermal efficiency.
Don’t let climbing heating costs drain your budget. Bring back your home’s thermal performance by choosing perfectly sealed new windows.

A windy day reveals you a lot. Hold your hand near the edges of the window. Cold air sneaking through means the seals have gone.
Sure, draught proofing strips can do something for a short time, but they’re really a sticking plaster. The issue only worsens as the rubber continues to breaking down.

Windows that stick, jam, or won’t fasten correctly are a security risk as well as an insulation concern. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all point to the window has come to the end of its working life.
Multi-point locking systems on modern windows are much more secure than the single-point catches on older models, and options like toughened glass provide extra protection.
Windows lose a considerable amount of your home’s heat. They’re the bridge between you and the outside weather.
Double glazing from years ago is a thing of the past, and the energy ratings will be well below what’s achievable today, even if the spec was good when first fitted.
Guard your home from expensive energy bills. New double glazed windows and doors make the difference.

Every Helensburgh home has its own character. The right window style depends on the house, the room, and how you live in it.
The Advanced Group has a full lineup of double glazed and triple glazed windows and doors available, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung designs, all supplied and installed by our team.

As quite possibly the most popular window style in the UK, casement windows are side-hinged and open outwards, providing good ventilation and simple cleaning from inside.
Casement windows work with most property kinds, from modern houses to traditional houses, and are offered in a wide range of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that replicate the look of timber without the maintenance and worry of warping.

Our sliding sash windows look like original wooden sash frames. Modern thermal efficiency and protection are included as standard.
Every proportion, sight line, and opening mechanism matches the traditional design. Whether your property sits in a conservation area or you simply want to hold onto its charm, these windows deliver.

Tilt and turn windows are really practical! They tilt inward at the top for safe ventilation and swing completely inward on a side hinge for dead easy cleaning.
Common in upper-floor flats. Cleaning the outside from a ladder? Not an option.
The tilt mode provides you airflow without the security risks of a fully open window, which is especially valuable for families with young children.
Top hung windows open outward from the bottom while staying hinged at the top, which is brilliant for letting air in without allowing rain in.
Bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window configurations, anywhere privacy and airflow both matter. That’s where top hung windows come into their own.

French windows are full-length panels that open outward, working much like French doors.
Ideal in pairs. Combine them with sidelights to fill a wide opening with glass and natural light.
The Advanced Group specialises in uPVC frame materials for sound reasons.
Scottish weather can be wild, but uPVC handles it all! It’s durable, stands up to wind, rain, and the roughest of it, and you won’t get the warping or rot issues that timber frames bring.
Low maintenance comes in as standard with uPVC.
Soapy water and a quick wipe down. That’s all it takes to keep uPVC looking fresh.
Energy performance is where our uPVC windows truly deliver. Multi-chambered uPVC design, U-values as low as 0.8 W/m2K on some frames, and a proper difference to the energy performance of your property.
The cherry on top? uPVC double glazing is the most budget-friendly option going.
This means you to often select higher-specification glazing without breaking your budget. We also provide glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to coordinate.
Scotland’s weather is cold, wet, and windy for a good portion of the year.
That climate means the energy efficiency of your windows counts. It shapes how much you spend on heating and how cosy your home feels from one day to the next.
U-value. That’s the figure that shows you how thermally efficient a window truly is.
A lower number means less heat getting out through the glass and frame. Currently, Scottish building regulations demand a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows perform at 1.2 W/m2K, and the premium options can get down to as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s double glazing and triple glazing working at twice the level of the regulatory minimum.
The difference appears on your energy bills.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings do the heavy lifting in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets pushed back in. Light still gets through.
If you’re moving from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you could see a real drop in your heating spend within the first winter.
Plenty of double glazing firms in Helensburgh supply standard products, but not many can compete with the standard of the windows and doors we fit.

We get asked about triple glazing regularly.
The additional pane of glass in triple glazing helps it to provide superior insulation and greater noise control.
If your house is in an exposed location, up a hill, facing north, or near a busy road or flight path, The Advanced Group is more than pleased to guide you through the benefits of triple glazing.

New windows are an investment. Paying all at once isn’t always feasible. We get that.
0% APR. Up to 4 years interest free credit. That’s what we provide.
This enables you to install the windows you deserve while spreading the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that works for your circumstances.
