New Windows Lanark
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Maybe you’ve noticed a change in temperature in your home. Energy bills going up. Or condensation forming on or inside your windows in the morning.
If that sounds familiar, your windows are sending you a signal.
Windows don’t keep their seal indefinitely, and older ones lose theirs over time.
Gas seeps out from between the panes. The rubber gaskets stiffen and pull away. What used to hold back the cold now barely registers.
Lanark’s rain and wind can feel more regular than the sun. Worn windows make a real difference to how warm and cosy your property feels.
Not to worry. The Advanced Group offers over 38 years of trusted expertise. Single room or full house, replacement windows or doors, we’ll find the right option and install everything correctly.

Some issues are plain to see. Cracked glass. Rotten timber frames. Handles that don’t close right.
Other signs are harder to catch. By the time you realise, they’ve been losing you money for months or years.

Moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass? The sealed unit has broken down.
Once the seal has gone, the argon gas that provides insulation seeps away, and the window loses a significant portion of its thermal performance.
Don’t let climbing heating bills chip away at your budget. Bring back your home’s thermal performance by installing perfectly sealed new windows.

Try putting your hand near the edges of your window on a windy day. If you feel cold air sneaking through, the seals have deteriorated.
Draught proofing strips give a short-term solution, but they’re really a sticking plaster on a problem that will only worsen as the rubber keeps degrade.

Got windows that jam, won’t lock properly, or just refuse to cooperate? That’s a safety risk and an insulation problem rolled into one. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all signal you the window has hit the end of its useful life.
Modern windows come with multi-point locking systems that are much more secure than the single-point catches on older windows. Options like toughened glass provide additional protection too.
Did you realise that windows are behind a large proportion of heat loss in any house? They’re the bridge between your home and the outside world.
Double glazing from years ago is old news, and the energy ratings will be well below what’s on offer today, even if the specification was good when first installed.
New double glazed windows and doors will shield your house from high energy costs.

Every Lanark home is different, and the right window type depends on the building, the room, and how you occupy it.
We supply and fit a full selection of double glazed and triple glazed windows and doors, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung styles.

The most popular window type in the UK. Side-hinged, opening outwards. Practical for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
Casement windows complement just about every property kind, whether it’s a modern home or a traditional property! They are available in a big choice of colours and finishes, and the woodgrain effects look just like real timber without the maintenance or warping fear.

Our sliding sash windows replicate original wooden sash frames. Modern thermal performance and protection come as standard.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism are all made to mirror the traditional look, which is particularly valuable if your property is in a conservation area or you wish to maintain its charm.

Tilt and turn windows are genuinely handy! They tilt inward at the top for safe ventilation and swing fully inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning.
They’re a popular choice for upper-floor flats where cleaning the outside of the glass from a ladder isn’t feasible.
Airflow without the safety risk of a fully open window. That’s what the tilt feature gives, and it’s particularly handy for families with young children.
Top hung windows open outward from the bottom while being hinged at the top, which is brilliant for getting air in without allowing rain through.
Often used in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, and bay window arrangements. Any space where privacy and airflow both are important.

French windows function just like French doors but are full-length windows that open outward.
They’re perfect in pairs and can be matched with sidelights to fill a wide opening with glass and natural light.
There are sound reasons why The Advanced Group focuses in uPVC frame materials.
Scottish weather is unforgiving, and uPVC is designed to be durable and resilient to wild, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t have the same warping or rot worries.
Not only that, but uPVC is low maintenance.
Soapy water and a wipe. That’s all it needs to get uPVC looking fresh.
Energy performance is where our uPVC windows really shine. Multi-chambered uPVC design, U-values as low as 0.8 W/m2K on some frames, and a proper improvement to the energy efficiency of your property.
And better of all? uPVC double glazing is also the most budget-friendly option.
Higher-specification glazing without breaking the budget? That’s what uPVC makes. We also supply glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to go with.
Scotland’s weather is cold, wet, and windy for a large part of the year.
That weather means the energy rating of your windows matters. It influences how much you shell out on heating and how warm your home feels day to day.
Thermal performance is measured by U-value.
A lower U-value means less heat escaping through the glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently require a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Standard double glazed windows: 1.2 W/m2K. Premium range: as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s twice as effective as the regulatory minimum.
You’ll notice the difference on your energy bills.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings perform the hard work in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets pushed back in. Light still flows through.
If you’re moving from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you could see a significant drop in your heating costs within the first winter.
Lanark has a good number of double glazing businesses. Few come close to the quality of our windows and doors.

Triple glazing is among the most frequent enquiries our trusted installers hear.
The additional pane of glass in triple glazing allows it to provide enhanced insulation and greater noise control.
If your property is positioned in an exposed area, up a hill or high above sea level, facing north, or near a busy road or under a flight path, The Advanced Group would be more than willing to guide you through the advantages of triple glazing.

New windows are an significant spend. Paying for everything at once? Not always practical. We get that.
That’s why we provide 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit.
This helps you get the windows you deserve by spreading the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that suits around your budget.
