New Windows Leven
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

You’ve noticed the temperature changing in your home. Heating costs are climbing. Condensation sits on or inside your windows each morning.
If that seems familiar, your windows are sending you a signal.
Older windows lose their seal over time.
Between the panes, the gas leaks. The rubber gaskets stiffen and shrink. What used to held the cold back now hardly slows it down.
Leven sees its fair share of rain and wind, sometimes more than sunshine. When your windows are tired, you notice the difference in how warm and snug your home remains.
However not to worry, The Advanced Group is here to help with over 38 years of trusted expertise. Whether you want new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we can help you find the right option and get everything installed correctly.

Certain signs are obvious. Cracked glass, rotten timber frames, handles that won’t fasten the way they should.
But then there are the sneakier signs. The ones you don’t notice until they’ve already been costing you money for months, possibly years.

If you notice moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass, this is a sure sign that the sealed unit has given way.
Once that seal fails, the argon gas that gives insulation seeps out, and your window loses a significant amount of its thermal efficiency.
Climbing heating costs don’t have to empty your wallet. Bring back your home’s thermal efficiency with perfectly sealed new windows.

On a windy day, hold your hand near the edges of the window. If you can feel cold air getting through, this suggests the seals have deteriorated.
Draught proofing strips buy you time, but they’re a sticking plaster at most. The rubber keeps perishing, and the fault only grows.

If your windows jam, won’t fasten properly, or are hard to operate, this poses both a security risk and an insulation issue. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms are all signals that the window has come to the end of its working life.
The single-point catches on older windows can’t match up with the multi-point locking systems on modern frames. Add toughened glass, and your house gains a real protection boost.

Your windows are behind a large amount of the heat loss in your home. They’re the bridge between you and the outside world.
Your old double glazing? It’s had its day! The energy ratings are far below what’s achievable now, even if the original spec was good when first installed.
High energy costs don’t have to be the default. New double glazed windows and doors help protect your home and bring those costs down.

Every property in Leven is different. The right window style depends on the building, the room, and how you live in it.
A full selection of windows and doors, double glazed and triple glazed, is on offer from The Advanced Group, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung styles, all provided and installed by our team.

The most popular window type in the UK. Side-hinged, opening outwards. Great for ventilation and easy to clean from inside.
Casement windows go with most property styles. Modern builds, traditional properties, the lot in between. On offer in a wide range of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that give the look of timber without the maintenance or warping worry.

Our sliding sash windows replicate original wooden sash frames. Modern thermal performance and safety are built in as standard.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism are all made to mirror the traditional design, which is especially relevant if your property is in a conservation area or you wish to keep its charm.

Tilt and turn windows tilt inward at the top for safe ventilation, and turn fully inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning.
They’re a popular choice for upper-floor flats where cleaning the outside of the glass from a ladder isn’t practical.
The tilt feature provides you airflow without the security concerns of a fully open window, which is especially valuable for families with young children.
Top hung windows hinge at the top and open outward from the bottom. This makes them a practical choice for ventilation while working to hold rain out.
Often installed in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, and bay window arrangements. Any space where privacy and airflow both matter.

French windows are full-length windows that open outward in the same way as French doors.
Pair them up and combine them with sidelights, and you can open up a wide opening with glass and natural light. The effect is stunning.

uPVC frame materials. That’s what The Advanced Group focuses in, and the reasons are good.
Scottish weather is unforgiving. uPVC is designed to withstand it. Hardwearing, resistant to wild, windy, wet conditions. No warping or rot issues like timber.
In addition, uPVC offers the advantage of being low maintenance.
Simply wipe it down with soapy water and it can look fresh.
The big advantage? Energy efficiency. Our uPVC windows feature multi-chambered uPVC, and some frames reach a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That recovers genuine energy performance to your house.
On top of all that, uPVC double glazing is also the most affordable option on the market.
This means you can often choose higher-spec glazing without blowing the budget. We also offer glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.
Scotland dishes out cold, wet, and windy weather for a large portion of the year.
That weather means the energy rating of your windows makes a difference. It shapes how much you shell out on heating and how warm your house feels from one day to the next.
Thermal efficiency is measured by U-value.
A lower U-value indicates less heat being lost through the glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently stipulate a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows come in at 1.2 W/m2K, and the premium range can reach as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s double glazing and triple glazing working at twice the level of the regulatory minimum.
And where does that difference appear? Straight on your energy bills!
A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors with argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings bounce heat back into the room while still allowing light through.
If you’re swapping out old single-glazed sash windows or 1990s double glazing, you could notice a significant drop in your heating bills within the first winter.
There are plenty of double glazing companies in Leven offering entry-level products, but not many can match the standard of what we provide.

Our trusted installers are frequently asked about our triple glazing range.
An extra pane of glass. Better insulation. Greater noise reduction. That’s triple glazing.
Exposed location. Up a hill. Facing north. Near a busy road or under a flight path. If any of those sounds like your property, The Advanced Group is ready to guide you through the advantages of triple glazing.
