New Windows Mauchline
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Maybe you’ve felt a drop in temperature inside your house. Energy bills going up. Or condensation building up on or inside your windows every morning.
If that sounds familiar, your windows are telling you a message.
The seal on older windows weakens over time.
The gas between the panes gradually leaks, the rubber gaskets harden and contract, and what once kept the cold out now hardly makes any difference.
In Mauchline, where the rain and wind can feel more common than sunshine, worn-out windows truly change how warm and cosy your house feels.
The Advanced Group is here to help, bringing over 38 years of trusted service. Whether you are looking for new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we’ll guide you to the right solution and ensure everything is installed properly.

The obvious ones jump out. Cracked glass, rotten timber frames, handles that don’t close properly.
Other signs are harder to spot. By the time you see them, they’ve been losing you money for months or years.

If you can see moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass, the sealed unit has given way.
Once that seal fails, the argon gas that delivers insulation escapes out, and your window loses a huge portion of its thermal effectiveness.
Don’t let increasing heating bills eat into your budget. Recover your home’s thermal performance by fitting perfectly sealed new windows.

Put your hand near the edges of the window on a windy day. If you can feel cold air coming through, the seals have deteriorated.
Draught proofing strips offer a brief fix, but they’re essentially a sticking plaster on a problem that will only deteriorate as the rubber goes on to degrade.

Windows that stick, jam, or won’t close correctly are a safety risk as well as an insulation concern. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all suggest the window has hit the end of its useful life.
Multi-point locking systems outperform the old single-point catches for safety. Toughened glass adds another layer of protection.
Your windows are where a considerable amount of your home’s heat escapes. That thin bridge between you and the outside weather counts more than many people think.
Your old double glazing? It’s had its day! The energy ratings are well below what’s available today, even if the original spec was solid when first installed.
New double glazed windows and doors will protect your house from high energy bills.

Every Mauchline house is different, and the right window type depends on the building, the room, and how you use it.
The Advanced Group supplies and fits a wide range of windows and doors in double glazed and triple glazed configurations, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung styles.

Casement windows are likely the most popular window style in the UK. They’re side-hinged and open outwards, making them great for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
Perfect for most property types, from modern houses to traditional houses, casement windows are available in a wide choice of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that replicate the appearance of timber without the maintenance or risk of warping.

The classic look of wooden sash frames, replicated in every detail. That’s what our sliding sash windows provide, along with modern thermal efficiency and security.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism all match the traditional look, which matters if your property is in a conservation area or you simply want to preserve its personality.

These windows tilt inward at the top for protected ventilation and turn fully inward on a side hinge for simple cleaning.
If you are in an upper-floor flat, these are a brilliant choice because cleaning the outside of the glass from a ladder just isn’t an option.
The tilt function lets air in without the safety concerns of having the window fully open, which is particularly valuable if you’ve got young children.
Top hung windows open outward from the bottom while staying hinged at the top, which is great for getting air in without letting rain in.
They are commonly chosen in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window setups, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are equally valued.

French windows are full-length windows that open outward in the same way as French doors.
They look well in pairs and can be paired with sidelights to fill a wide opening with glass and natural light.
The Advanced Group specialises in uPVC frame materials, and for really good reasons!
Scottish weather can be rough, but uPVC takes it all! It’s durable, resists wind, rain, and the roughest of it, and you won’t get the warping or rot concerns that timber frames come with.
What’s more, uPVC is also low maintenance.
Just grab it a wipe with soapy water and it’ll look fresh.
More to the point though, our uPVC windows are very energy effective. With multi-chambered uPVC design, some of our frames can reach a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, helping to improve your home’s energy performance.
And the best part? uPVC double glazing is the most affordable option available.
So you can often install higher-spec glazing and still stay within budget. We supply glazed uPVC doors too, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.
Scotland is cold, wet, and windy for a good chunk of the year.
In that weather, the energy rating of your windows makes a genuine difference to how much you pay on heating and how warm your property feels on a daily basis.
U-value. That’s the measurement that tells you how well-insulated a window truly is.
The lower that value, the less heat gets out through your glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently cap it at a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Standard double glazed windows: 1.2 W/m2K. Premium range: as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s twice as good as the regulatory minimum.
You’ll spot the difference on your energy statements.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings do the hard work in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets reflected back in. Light still comes through.
Moving from old single-glazed sash windows or 1990s double glazing? You’ll likely notice a clear drop in heating bills within the first winter.
Mauchline has no shortage of double glazing companies. Few rival the quality of our windows and doors.

Triple glazing is one of the most common enquiries our trusted installers hear.
An extra pane of glass makes triple glazing apart. It translates to enhanced insulation and greater noise dampening compared to standard double glazing.
Exposed location? Up a hill? Facing north? Near a busy road or flight path? The Advanced Group will walk you through the advantages of triple glazing.
