Fitting Scotland Perfectly
New Windows Orchard Park
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Maybe you’ve noticed a change in temperature in your house. Heating bills going up. Or condensation sitting on or inside your windows in the morning.
Ring a bell? Your windows are telling you a message.
As windows get older, they gradually lose their seal.
Between the panes, the gas leaks. The rubber gaskets stiffen and pull away. What once held the cold back now barely slows it down.
Living in Orchard Park, you get that rain and wind sometimes outweigh the sunny days, and tired windows make a proper difference to how warm and snug your house feels.
The Advanced Group is here to help, with over 38 years of trusted expertise. Whether you want new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we’ll guide you to the right fit and ensure everything is fitted properly.

Cracked glass? Rotten timber frames? Handles that don’t close right? Some problems are pretty obvious.
Some signs fly under the radar however, and by the time you spot them, they’ve been steadily costing you money for months or even years.

Can you see moisture or fogging trapped between the two sheets of glass? That tells you the sealed unit has broken down.
Once that seal goes, the argon gas that delivers insulation seeps out, and your window loses a huge portion of its thermal efficiency.
Stop throwing money away on climbing heating prices. Bring back your home’s thermal efficiency with well sealed new windows.

Hold your hand near the window edges on a windy day. Cold air sneaking through? The seals have gone.
Sure, draught proofing strips can do something for a bit, but they’re just a sticking plaster. The problem only deteriorates as the rubber continues to breaking down.

Windows that catch, jam, or won’t lock correctly are a safety risk as well as an insulation issue. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all suggest the window has hit the end of its functional life.
Multi-point locking systems beat the old single-point catches for protection. Toughened glass gives further protection.
Windows leak a large amount of your home’s heat. They’re the bridge between you and the outside elements.
If your double glazing is old, the energy ratings will very likely be far below what’s available now, even if they were a decent specification when originally fitted.
Fitting new double glazed windows and doors is one of the most effective ways to shield your house from high energy costs.

The right window style for your Orchard Park house will depend on the building itself, the room in question, and how you use it.
The Advanced Group provides a full selection of windows and doors in both double glazed and triple glazed specifications, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung types.

The most common window style in the UK. Side-hinged, opening outwards. Practical for ventilation and easy to clean from inside.
Ideal for most property styles, from modern builds to traditional properties, casement windows are available in a wide selection of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that recreate the appearance of timber without the maintenance or worry of warping.

Our sliding sash windows are designed to mirror the appearance of original wooden sash frames, while providing modern standards of thermal performance and protection.
Proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism all mirror the traditional look. Ideal for conservation areas or preserving your property’s character.

Tilt them inward at the top for secure ventilation. Turn them completely inward on a side hinge for simple cleaning. Two functions, one window.
They’re especially popular in upper-floor flats, where getting up a ladder to clean the outside of the glass is not an option.
The tilt mode gives airflow without safety concerns. Particularly useful for families with young children.
Hinged at the top, opening outward from the bottom. Smart for ventilation and effective at keeping rain out.
They’re often chosen in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window configurations, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are equally valued.

French windows work just like French doors but are full-length windows that open outward.
They’re great in pairs and can be paired with sidelights to flood a wide opening with glass and natural light.
We focus in uPVC frame materials. And for sound reason.
Scotland’s weather doesn’t play nice with your windows, and uPVC is made to take it. It’s hardwearing, resilient to rough, windy, wet conditions, and unlike timber, it won’t rot the same way.
And here’s another plus: uPVC is really low maintenance!
A simple wipe down with soapy water is all it takes to have your uPVC windows looking good as new.
More importantly though, our uPVC windows are very energy effective. With multi-chambered uPVC design, some of our frames can achieve a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, working to improve your home’s energy performance.
On top of all that, uPVC double glazing is also the most affordable option on the market.
That lets you can often upgrade to higher-specification glazing without busting the budget! We also offer glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to coordinate.
Let’s be honest, Scotland is cold, wet, and windy for a large chunk of the year!
That climate means the energy rating of your windows makes a difference. It affects how much you pay on heating and how warm your house feels day to day.
Familiar with U-values? That’s how the thermal efficiency of any window is measured.
The lower the figure, the less heat escapes through the glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently demand a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows come in at 1.2 W/m2K. The premium models? As low as 0.8 W/m2K. Twice as effective as the regulatory minimum, without question.
The difference appears on your energy bills.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings perform the hard work in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets reflected back in. Light still flows through.
Upgrading from old single-glazed sash windows or 1990s double glazing? Expect a real drop in heating bills within the first winter.
There are plenty of double glazing companies in Orchard Park supplying basic products, but not many can rival the quality of what we install.

We get asked about triple glazing regularly.
The additional pane of glass in triple glazing allows it to deliver enhanced insulation and improved noise dampening.
Exposed spot? Up a hill? Facing north? Near a busy road or flight path? The Advanced Group will guide you through the advantages of triple glazing.

New windows are an big purchase. Paying for the lot at once? Not always realistic. We know that.
That’s why we provide 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit, making the whole thing much easier!
It means you can get the windows you need through helping you spread the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that works for you.
