New Windows Park
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

A shift in temperature throughout the home. Rising energy bills. Condensation sitting on or inside the windows every morning. Ring any bells?
If that feels familiar, your windows are telling you something.
Windows don’t last forever, and older ones lose theirs over time.
Gas escapes from between the panes. The rubber gaskets stiffen and shrink. What used to block the cold now barely registers.
In a city like Park, where rain and wind are sometimes more common than sunshine, tired windows have a real impact on how warm and comfortable your house feels.
But not to fret, The Advanced Group is here to lend a hand with more than 38 years of trusted experience. Whether it’s new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we’ll find you the right fit and get everything installed the right way.

Some faults are plain to see. Cracked glass. Rotten timber frames. Handles that don’t fasten right.
Other issues, however, are less obvious, and by the time you spot, they might have been costing you money for months or even years.

Moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass? The sealed unit has broken down.
The seal gives way, and with it leaks the argon gas that provided the insulation. The window loses a major portion of its thermal efficiency.
Increasing heating prices don’t have to keep climbing. Well sealed new windows will bring back your home’s thermal efficiency and start to bring those bills back down.

Here’s a quick test: place your hand near the edges of the window on a windy day. If cold air is coming through, the seals have broken down.
Draught proofing strips can help in the short term, but they’re a sticking plaster on a fault that will only worsen as the rubber continues to break down.

If your windows catch, won’t close correctly, or are difficult to open, this creates both a safety risk and an insulation issue. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms are all signals that the window has come to the end of its functional life.
The single-point catches on older windows don’t match up with the multi-point locking systems on modern windows. Add toughened glass, and your house has a proper security upgrade.
A significant share of heat loss in any property happens through the windows. They represent the bridge between your internal space and the outside elements.
Double glazing from years ago is a thing of the past, and the energy ratings will be far below what’s achievable today, even if the spec was reasonable when first fitted.
Protect your property from high energy bills with new double glazed windows and doors.

No two Park houses are the same, and the best window choice hinges on the property, the room, and how you use it.
The Advanced Group has a complete lineup of double glazed and triple glazed windows and doors on offer, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung styles, all provided and installed by our experts.

The most widely fitted window style in the UK. Side-hinged, opening outwards. Practical for ventilation and easy to clean from inside.
Modern home or traditional villa, casement windows work with the lot. A wide choice of colours and finishes is on offer, and the woodgrain effects replicate the look of timber without any of the maintenance or warping worries.

Our sliding sash windows recreate the look of original wooden sash frames while delivering modern thermal performance and security.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism match the traditional look. That’s essential if your property is in a conservation area or you just want to maintain its personality.

Tilt and turn windows tilt inward at the top for secure ventilation, and turn completely inward on a side hinge for simple cleaning.
Upper-floor flat? Cleaning outside glass from a ladder isn’t an option. Tilt and turn windows sort that challenge easily.
The tilt mode lets air in without the safety concerns of having the window wide open, which is especially helpful if you’ve got young children.
Hinged at the top, swinging outward from the bottom. Top hung windows offer you ventilation and help keep the rain out at the same time.
Bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window arrangements, anywhere privacy and airflow both are needed. That’s where top hung windows really shine.

French windows are full-length windows that open outward like French doors.
They’re ideal in pairs and can be paired with sidelights to open up a wide opening with glass and natural light.
uPVC frame materials. That’s what The Advanced Group specialises in, and the reasons are solid.
Scotland’s weather won’t play nice with your windows, and uPVC is made to withstand it. It’s durable, resilient to wild, windy, wet conditions, and unlike timber, it won’t deteriorate the same way.
Not only that, but uPVC is low maintenance.
Just give it a wipe with soapy water and it’ll look as good as new.
And here’s the really big part: our uPVC windows are seriously energy efficient! Designed with multi-chambered uPVC, some of our frames reach a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, which really works to bring back your home’s energy performance.
And you know the best part? uPVC double glazing is also the most budget-friendly option out there!
This allows you to often select premium-grade glazing without blowing your budget. We also stock glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.
Scotland dishes out cold, wet, and windy weather for a large portion of the year.
In that weather, the energy rating of your windows makes a noticeable difference to how much you spend on heating and how pleasant your property feels on a daily basis.
The thermal performance of any window is measured by its U-value.
Lower figure, less heat escaping. Scottish building regulations currently set a maximum of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Standard double glazed windows: 1.2 W/m2K. Premium range: as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s twice as good as the regulatory minimum.
The difference shows up on your energy bills.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings do the real work in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets pushed back in. Light still flows through.
Old single-glazed sash windows or 1990s double glazing? Upgrade them, and you could see a real drop in heating bills before the first winter is done.
Many double glazing businesses in Park sell standard products, but few can match the calibre of the windows and doors we supply.

Our trusted installers often get asked about our triple glazing options.
An extra pane of glass. Enhanced insulation. Greater noise reduction. That’s triple glazing.
Exposed area? Up a hill? Facing north? Near a busy road or flight path? The Advanced Group will guide you through the benefits of triple glazing.
