New Windows Robroyston
Big Savings On Our Red Hot Summer SALE!

You’ve noticed the temperature changing in your home. Bills are climbing. Condensation forms on or inside your windows every morning.
If that sounds familiar, your windows are sending you something.
Windows don’t last forever, and older ones lose theirs over time.
The gas between the panes leaks out, the rubber gaskets go rigid and pull away, and what once did hold the cold out now barely slows it down.
Robroyston’s rain and wind can feel more frequent than the sun. Tired windows make a noticeable difference to how warm and comfortable your home feels.
Not to worry. The Advanced Group has over 38 years of trusted expertise. Single room or full house, replacement windows or doors, we’ll find the right fit and install everything right.

Cracked glass? Rotten timber frames? Handles that don’t close properly? Some signs are easy to spot.
But other signs are easier to miss, and by the time you spot them, they’ve already been costing you money for months or even years.

If you can see moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass, the sealed unit has failed.
The seal goes. The argon gas leaks out. The window loses a major portion of its thermal effectiveness.
Increasing heating prices don’t have to keep climbing. Properly sealed new windows will recover your home’s thermal performance and help pull those costs back down.

Here’s a quick test: put your hand near the edges of the window on a windy day. If cold air is coming through, the seals have broken down.
Draught proofing strips offer you time, but they’re a sticking plaster at most. The rubber continues to perishing, and the problem only worsens.

Windows that stick, jam, or won’t fasten correctly are a security risk as well as an insulation concern. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all point to the window has reached the end of its functional life.
The single-point catches on older windows can’t match up with the multi-point locking systems on modern frames. Factor in toughened glass, and your home gets a proper protection boost.
Your windows are the cause of a considerable proportion of the heat loss in your home. They’re the bridge between you and the outside world.
Double glazing from years ago is old news, and the energy ratings will be far below what’s available today, even if the spec was decent at the time.
Shield your house from high energy bills with new double glazed windows and doors.

Every Robroyston home has its own feel. The right window choice depends on the property, the room, and how you live in it.
A full selection of windows and doors, double glazed and triple glazed, is on offer from The Advanced Group, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung types, all supplied and fitted by our installers.

As quite possibly the most widely chosen window type in the UK, casement windows are side-hinged and open outwards, providing good ventilation and straightforward cleaning from inside.
Modern house or traditional house, casement windows suit the lot. A wide range of colours and finishes is on offer, and the woodgrain effects replicate the look of timber without any of the maintenance or warping risk.

Our sliding sash windows recreate the look of original wooden sash frames while delivering modern thermal efficiency and protection.
Every proportion, sight line, and opening mechanism matches the traditional style. Whether your property is in a conservation area or you simply want to maintain its character, these windows fit the bill.

Tilt inward at the top for protected ventilation. Turn completely inward on a side hinge for simple cleaning.
If you live in an upper-floor flat, these are a fantastic choice because cleaning the outside of the glass from a ladder just isn’t practical.
The tilt feature enables airflow without the security concerns associated with a fully open window, which is especially valuable for families with young children.
Hinged at the top, opening outward from the bottom. Practical for ventilation and good at keeping rain out.
They are commonly fitted in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window configurations, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are both needed.

French windows are full-length windows that open outward just like French doors.
They’re great in pairs and can be paired with sidelights to flood a wide opening with glass and natural light.
The Advanced Group’s focus is uPVC frame materials, and this choice is backed by good reasons.
uPVC frame materials are especially well suited to the demanding Scottish climate, offering hardwearing performance and resistance to wild, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t suffer from the same warping or rot concerns.
Not only that, but uPVC is low maintenance.
A brief wipe down with soapy water is all it takes to keep your uPVC windows appearing brand new.
More importantly though, our uPVC windows are seriously energy efficient. With multi-chambered uPVC construction, some of our frames can reach a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, helping to improve your home’s energy efficiency.
And you want to hear the best bit? uPVC double glazing is also the most cost-effective option out there!
This means you can often install higher-specification glazing without blowing the budget. We also supply glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.
For a large chunk of the year, Scotland’s climate is cold, wet, and windy.
In that weather, the energy performance of your windows makes a real difference to how much you pay on heating and how comfortable your house feels day to day.
A window’s thermal performance is measured by what’s known as its U-value.
A lower number means less heat being lost through the glass and frame. Currently, Scottish building regulations set a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows reach 1.2 W/m2K, and our premium options can achieve values as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s high-quality double glazing and triple glazing that works twice as well as the regulatory minimum.
You’ll notice the difference on your energy bills.
A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors with argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings are fantastic at reflecting heat back into the room while still letting lots of light through.
Old single-glazed sash windows or 1990s double glazing? Upgrade them, and you could see a clear drop in heating costs before the first winter is out.
Robroyston has plenty of double glazing businesses. Few match the calibre of our windows and doors.

Our skilled installers are often asked about our triple glazing options.
The additional pane of glass in triple glazing enables it to offer enhanced insulation and greater noise reduction.
Exposed area? Up a hill? Facing north? Near a busy road or flight path? The Advanced Group will walk you through the advantages of triple glazing.

New windows are an investment. Paying for everything at once? Not always practical. We get that.
That’s why we offer 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit, making the whole thing much more manageable!
It means you can get the windows you want by helping you spread the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that works for you.
