New Windows Trinity
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Maybe you’ve picked up on a shift in temperature throughout your home. Energy bills rising. Or condensation sitting on or inside your windows every morning.
If that seems familiar, your windows are sending you a signal.
Windows don’t keep their seal indefinitely, and older ones shed theirs over time.
The gas between the panes slowly leaks, the rubber gaskets go rigid and contract, and what used to kept the cold out now scarcely makes any difference.
Trinity’s rain and wind can seem more regular than the sun. Tired windows make a clear difference to how warm and comfortable your home feels.
Over 38 years in the industry, and The Advanced Group is still here, available to lend a hand. Whether it’s one room or the entire house that is due new windows and doors, we’ll find the right fit and have everything installed properly.

Some faults are plain to see. Cracked glass. Rotten timber frames. Handles that don’t fasten properly.
But other issues are less obvious, and by the time you spot them, they’ve already been costing you money for months, sometimes even years.

Noticing moisture or fogging between your two panes of glass means the sealed unit has failed.
Once that seal goes, the argon gas that gives insulation escapes out, and your window loses a huge amount of its thermal effectiveness.
Why waste money away on increasing heating bills? Restore your home’s thermal efficiency with perfectly sealed new windows instead.

Try placing your hand near the edges of your window on a windy day. If you can feel cold air getting through, the seals have deteriorated.
Draught proofing strips may help for a while, but they’re really a sticking plaster on a issue that’ll only deteriorate as the rubber continues to degrading.

Jamming windows that won’t close properly aren’t just inconvenient, they’re a security risk and an insulation issue too. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all signal a window that’s hit the end of its working life.
Multi-point locking systems on today’s windows provide far better protection than the single-point catches found on older models, and toughened glass choices give an additional layer of protection.

A significant proportion of heat loss in any house happens through the windows. They act as the barrier between your living space and the outside weather.
Double glazing from the past is exactly that, in the past. The energy ratings fall far below current standards, even if the original specification was reasonable when first installed.
Shield your house from rising energy costs. New double glazed windows and doors make the difference.

The right window choice for your Trinity property will depend on the house itself, the room in question, and how you use it.
The Advanced Group offers a full range of windows and doors in both double glazed and triple glazed options, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung types.
As perhaps the most popular window type in the UK, casement windows are side-hinged and open outwards, giving good ventilation and simple cleaning from inside.
Casement windows suit most property kinds, from modern homes to traditional properties, and are provided in a wide range of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that replicate the look of timber without the maintenance and risk of warping.

The sliding sash windows we supply replicate the appearance of original wooden sash frames, while delivering modern thermal performance and safety.
Every proportion, sight line, and opening mechanism mirrors the traditional design. Whether your property is in a conservation area or you simply want to hold onto its charm, these windows fit the bill.
Tilt them inward at the top for safe ventilation. Turn them fully inward on a side hinge for simple cleaning. Two modes, one window.
Common in upper-floor flats. Cleaning the outside from a ladder? Not an option.
The tilt function is a genuine benefit! You get airflow without the security risks of a fully open window, which is particularly handy if you’ve got young kids at home.
Top hung windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom, providing a smart solution for ventilation that also works to keep rain out.
They are often installed in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window arrangements, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are equally important.

Full-length windows that open outward like French doors. That’s exactly what French windows offer.
They perform well in pairs and can be combined with sidelights to cover a wide opening with glass and natural light.

The Advanced Group specialises in uPVC frame materials for strong reasons.
Scottish weather can be harsh, but uPVC takes it all! It’s long-lasting, stands up to wind, rain, and the harshest of it, and you won’t get the warping or rot problems that timber frames bring.
Better still, uPVC is also low maintenance.
Simply wipe it down with soapy water and it can look brand new.
But more to the point, our uPVC windows are highly energy effective. Designed with multi-chambered uPVC, some of our frames can reach a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, helping bring back energy performance to your home.
And better of all? uPVC double glazing is also the most affordable option.
This means you can often install premium-grade glazing without exceeding the budget. We also supply glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to coordinate.

Scotland is cold, wet, and windy for a good chunk of the year.
With a climate like that, the energy rating of your windows makes a noticeable difference to what you shell out on heating and how cosy your home feels every day!
The thermal efficiency of any window is measured by its U-value.
The lower that number goes, the less heat is lost. Scottish building regulations set the maximum at 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows currently.
Our standard double glazed windows come in at 1.2 W/m2K, and our premium range can reach 0.8 W/m2K! That’s performance at twice the regulatory minimum!
The evidence? It lands on your energy costs.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings do the real work in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets reflected back in. Light still flows through.
If you’re coming from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you could see a properly noticeable drop in your heating spend within even the first winter!
Trinity has its share of double glazing firms, and most supply entry-level products. Few, however, match the standard of the windows and doors fitted by The Advanced Group.

Our trusted installers often get asked about our triple glazing options.
With an extra pane of glass, triple glazing offers improved insulation and better noise control.
If your property is located in an exposed spot, up a hill, facing north, or near a busy road or under a flight path, give us a shout! The Advanced Group would be more than pleased to walk you through the advantages of triple glazing.

We understand that new windows represent a considerable investment, and paying for them in full all at once isn’t always feasible.
0% APR. Up to 4 years interest free credit. That’s what we offer.
This helps you get the windows you deserve by spreading the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that works around your budget.
