New Windows Winchburgh
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Noticed a temperature change in your house? Energy costs on the increase? Or condensation forming on or inside your windows when you wake up?
If that seems familiar, your windows are sending you a message.
As windows wear, they lose their seal.
Between the panes, the gas leaks. The rubber gaskets go stiff and shrink. What used to kept the cold out now barely registers.
Winchburgh’s rain and wind can feel more regular than the sun. Worn windows make a real difference to how warm and cosy your property feels.
No need to worry about it! The Advanced Group has been doing this for over 38 years. Whether you are after new windows for just one room or a full set of replacement windows and doors, we’ll help you find the right option and get it all fitted properly.

Some problems are obvious. Cracked glass, rotten timber frames, handles that don’t fasten correctly.
But other signs are harder to spot, and by the time you catch them, they’ve already been costing you money for months or even years.

Can you see moisture or fogging forming between the two sheets of glass? That means the sealed unit has failed.
Once the seal breaks, the argon gas that delivers insulation seeps away, and the window loses a large chunk of its thermal performance.
Don’t keep throwing money away on climbing heating prices. Recover your home’s thermal efficiency with perfectly sealed new windows.

Put your hand near the edges of the window on a windy day. If you can feel cold air getting in, the seals have worn.
Draught proofing strips provide a short-term measure, but they’re really a sticking plaster on a fault that will only get worse as the rubber continues to degrade.

Windows that jam, won’t close correctly, or refuse to open are both a safety risk and an insulation problem. Warped frames, worn hinges, failed mechanisms. The window has hit the end of its functional life.
Multi-point locking systems far exceed the old single-point catches for safety. Toughened glass adds further protection.

Windows contribute to a large proportion of heat loss in any home. It is the barrier between you and the outside elements.
Older double glazing is a thing of the past, and the energy ratings will be significantly below what’s on offer now, even if they were a decent specification when they were first put in.
High energy costs don’t have to be the norm. New double glazed windows and doors work to shield your home and bring those bills down.

No two Winchburgh houses are the same, and the ideal window choice comes down to on the property, the room, and how you live in it.
The Advanced Group provides and fits a wide selection of windows and doors in double glazed and triple glazed configurations, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung types.
Casement windows could well be the UK’s most common window style! They’re side-hinged, open outwards, and are great for ventilation and easy to clean from inside.
Casement windows suit most property styles, from modern houses to traditional houses, and are available in a wide range of colours and finishes, including woodgrain effects that replicate the look of timber without the maintenance and fear of warping.

Our sliding sash windows are crafted to replicate the appearance of original wooden sash frames, while providing modern levels of thermal performance and protection.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism all mirror the traditional style, which is perfect if your property’s in a conservation area or you just want to maintain its personality.
Tilt them inward at the top for safe ventilation. Turn them fully inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning. Two options, one window.
If you live in an upper-floor flat, these are a brilliant option because cleaning the outside of the glass from a ladder just isn’t practical.
The tilt mode allows air in without the security concerns of having the window fully open, which is particularly valuable if you’ve got young children.
Top hung windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom, giving a sensible option for ventilation that also helps to keep rain out.
They’re often installed in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window arrangements, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are equally needed.

French windows are full-length units that open outward, working in the same way as French doors.
Ideal in pairs. Pair them with sidelights to open up a wide opening with glass and natural light.

The Advanced Group specialises in uPVC frame materials, and for some genuinely good reasons!
Scottish weather can be rough, but uPVC withstands it all! It’s long-lasting, stands up to wind, rain, and the harshest of it, and you won’t get the warping or rot problems that timber frames come with.
Not only that, but uPVC is low maintenance.
Wipe it down with soapy water. That’s it. Looks brand new.
The big benefit? Energy performance. Our uPVC windows feature multi-chambered uPVC, and some frames hit a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That restores genuine energy efficiency to your home.
Better of all? uPVC double glazing is the most budget-friendly option.
This means you can often fit higher-spec glazing without blowing the budget. We also supply glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to complement.

Let’s be real, Scotland is cold, wet, and windy for a fair chunk of the year!
In that environment, the energy performance of your windows makes a noticeable difference to how much you shell out on heating and how comfortable your house feels on a daily basis.
Familiar with U-values? That’s how the thermal efficiency of any window is measured.
The lower that figure, the less heat escapes through your glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently require a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Standard double glazed windows: 1.2 W/m2K. Premium models: as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s twice as effective as the regulatory minimum.
You’ll see the difference on your energy statements.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings do the real work in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets pushed back in. Light still gets through.
If you’re upgrading from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you could see a genuinely noticeable drop in your heating costs within even the first winter!
Many double glazing businesses in Winchburgh supply basic products, but few can rival the calibre of the windows and doors we provide.

Our trusted installers are regularly asked about our triple glazing range.
Triple glazing has an extra pane of glass, helping it to deliver improved insulation and greater noise reduction.
If your property is in an exposed area, at a greater altitude, facing north, or close to a busy road or flight path, The Advanced Group would be more than willing to walk you through the advantages of triple glazing.

We understand that new windows are a notable spend, and paying for them in full all at once isn’t always possible.
To assist with this, we offer 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit.
It means you can get the windows you deserve by helping you spread the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that suits for you.
