Triple Glazing News

Triple Glazing has been around for quite a few years now, and like most things, as time passes, the specifications get higher and higher. The Advanced Group have seen what the other companies within the industry are providing and though – we don’t want to do that. Why? Because no one want to sell the same products as the next guy, no Advanced decided that they could produce a better quality, more energy efficient variation of Triple Glazing that would be far superior to that of the competition.

Our Triple Glazed uPVC Windows have a unique design consisting 3 insulating layers of glass with two air spaces totalling 40mm, which reduce the formation of any condensation, just like that way the majority of people that have old double glazed windows do. This is because of the air gaps, which provide the insulating layers that slow down heat loss which has a knock-on effect of reducing the opportunity for any condensation to form.

The best triple glazed unit we have comes with an industry beating 0.7 u value. A u value is the measurement of heat loss in a building element such as a wall, roof or windows. The higher a U value is, the worse the thermal performance is and the lower the u value, the better the insulation is. Almost every external building element has to comply with thermal standards and as the industry standard u values are generally between 1.5 and 2.5, this clearly shows that Advanced have trumped the competition.

How we do this is by using the latest technology and materials. We use carbon fibre to manufacture the spacebar that separates the panes of glass. Carbon fibre was used in the space shuttles and is still being used in formula 1 and rally cars. We also fill our units with 95% argon gas and because the gas is heavier than air, it slows down any heat loss or cold gain. We also ensure that we use toughened glass in the centre pane because the heat retention could crack ordinary standard glass. 2 od the 3 panes are coated with metal particles which are semi-precious and not visible to the naked eye. This reflects heat back into your home and after the house has been heated for a while, they will be warm to the touch.

The Advanced Group’s Energy Efficient Triple Glazing will without a doubt save you money on your energy bills and will make your windows more secure while helping the environment as well. The noise reduction is of such a high standard, you will be asking “what noise”.

One of the greatest things about Advanced is that we offer Nil Deposit Finance on our products to make it more affordable for everyone, but then again with the money you will save on your heating, the windows will pay for themselves in no time. What’s more, we offer a huge selection of styles and colours of triple glazing even the old style sash windows get the advanced treatment meaning that if your home is in a conservation area, your windows will look as natural as everyone else’s, just more energy efficient.
