Our energy efficient glass works by transmitting as much solar heat energy as possible from the outside, and reflecting interior warmth when temperatures drop outside.

Between the glazing panes of our double and triple glazed tilt and turn windows, thermo spacer bars are fitted, eliminating condensation by preventing cold patches of glass on the interior pane.

Tilt and turn windows are a variation on the traditional casement window, the most energy efficient of all window styles, with the sole difference of having an additional opening option.

A standard double glazed window from Advanced offers an excellent A-rated u-value of 1.4 Wm2K with the additional option of lowering this to just 1.2Wm2K.

Using an application of Soft Coat Xtra and Argon gas filling, our triple glazed tilt and turn windows reduce the u-value even further to an exceptional 0.8 W/m2K.

U-values are determined by a number of factors including frame, glass, and seal, and these values demonstrate just how much thought and innovation has gone into designing each and every component.
