New Windows Bridge of Earn
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Felt a temperature change in your house? Bills on the increase? Or condensation forming on or inside your windows in the morning?
If that matches your situation, your windows are giving you a clear signal.
The seal on older windows breaks down over time.
That gas between the panes? It leaks out. The rubber gaskets stiffen and shrink. And what once kept keep the cold out no longer slows it down.
Bridge of Earn gets its fair share of rain and wind, sometimes more than sunshine. When your windows are worn, you spot the difference in how warm and comfortable your home is.
Not to worry. The Advanced Group has over 38 years of trusted experience. Single room or full house, replacement windows or doors, we’ll find the right option and install everything right.

Some signs are straightforward, such as cracked glass, rotten timber frames, and handles that don’t close correctly.
But other signs are easier to miss, and by the time you catch them, they’ve already been costing you money for months, perhaps even years.

If you can see moisture or fogging between the two panes of glass, this is a sure sign that the sealed unit has given way.
The seal breaks, and with it leaks the argon gas that provided the insulation. The window loses a large portion of its thermal ability.
Don’t let rising heating bills eat into your budget. Bring back your home’s thermal efficiency by choosing properly sealed new windows.

On a windy day, place your hand near the edges of the window. If you can feel cold air flowing through, this suggests the seals have worn away.
Sure, draught proofing strips can do something for a bit, but they’re honestly a sticking plaster. The problem only deteriorates as the rubber continues to perishing.

If your windows stick, won’t fasten correctly, or are difficult to operate, this poses both a safety risk and an insulation concern. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms are all signals that the window has come to the end of its working life.
The single-point catches on older windows can’t match up with the multi-point locking systems on modern ones. Add toughened glass, and your property gets a real protection upgrade.

Did you realise that windows are behind a significant proportion of heat loss in any property? They’re the bridge between your house and the outside world.
Old double glazing doesn’t compare. The energy ratings are well below what’s on offer now, even if the original spec was solid when first fitted.
High energy bills don’t have to be the default. New double glazed windows and doors work to protect your house and keep those bills down.

No two Bridge of Earn houses are the alike, and the best window style comes down to on the building, the room, and how you use it.
We supply and fit a full selection of double glazed and triple glazed windows and doors, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung types.

Casement windows might just be the UK’s most common window type! They’re side-hinged, open outwards, and are perfect for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
They complement most kinds of property, from modern houses to traditional houses, and are available in a wide range of colours and finishes. Woodgrain effects replicate the look of timber without the maintenance or risk of warping.

Like the style of original wooden sash frames? Our sliding sash windows replicate that traditional style while packing in modern thermal performance and security.
The proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism mirror the traditional look. That’s important if your property is in a conservation area or you just want to preserve its character.

Tilt them inward at the top for secure ventilation. Turn them fully inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning. Two functions, one window.
Well-liked in upper-floor flats. Cleaning the outside from a ladder? Not feasible.
The tilt feature lets air in without the security risks of having the window fully open, which is especially useful if you’ve got young children.
Hinged at the top, swinging outward from the bottom. Top hung windows offer you ventilation and help hold the rain out at the very same time.
They’re often chosen in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window setups, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are just as needed.

French windows function just like French doors but are full-length windows that open outward.
Perfect in pairs. Pair them with sidelights to fill a wide opening with glass and natural light.

The Advanced Group concentrates in uPVC frame materials for strong reasons.
uPVC frame materials are particularly well suited to the demanding Scottish climate, providing hardwearing performance and resilience to harsh, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t suffer from the same warping or rot issues.
On top of that, uPVC is incredibly low maintenance.
Just grab it a wipe with soapy water and it’ll look as good as new.
The big selling point? Energy performance. Our uPVC windows are built with multi-chambered uPVC, and some frames hit a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That recovers proper energy performance to your house.
On top of all that, uPVC double glazing is also the most budget-friendly option out there.
That allows you can often go for premium-grade glazing without stretching the budget. We also carry glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to match.
Scotland gives cold, wet, and windy weather for a fair chunk of the year.
With that weather, your windows’ energy efficiency directly affects your heating spend and how comfortable your property feels day to day.
Ever heard of U-values? That’s how the thermal performance of any window is measured.
A lower value means less heat escaping through the glass and frame. At present, Scottish building regulations demand a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows achieve a U-value of 1.2 W/m2K, while our premium models can attain values as low as 0.8 W/m2K, working at twice the level of the regulatory minimum.
The difference is reflected on your energy bills.
Argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings perform the real work in A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors. Heat gets reflected back in. Light still comes through.
If you are replacing from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you should experience a significant drop in your heating bills within the first winter.
Plenty of double glazing businesses in Bridge of Earn supply standard products, but not many can compete with the quality of the windows and doors we fit.

We get asked about triple glazing a lot.
An extra pane of glass. Improved insulation. Better noise control. That’s triple glazing.
