New Windows Rosehill
Quality Energy Efficient Double Glazed Windows & Doors

Perhaps you’ve noticed a change in temperature in your property. Energy bills rising. Or condensation forming on or inside your windows in the morning.
If any of that rings familiar, your windows are trying to tell you something.
Windows don’t last forever, and older ones lose theirs over time.
The gas between the panes leaks out, the rubber gaskets stiffen and contract, and what once did hold the cold out now barely holds it back.
Living in Rosehill, you understand that rain and wind can beat the sunny days, and ageing windows make a proper difference to how warm and cosy your house feels.
But don’t worry, The Advanced Group is here to help with more than 38 years of trusted experience. Whether it’s new windows for a single room or a full house of replacement windows and doors, we’ll help you find the right fit and get everything installed properly.

Some signs are obvious, such as cracked glass, rotten timber frames, and handles that won’t close properly.
But other signs are harder to spot, and by the time you notice them, they’ve already been costing you money for months or even years.

If you can see moisture or fogging between the two sheets of glass, this is a strong sign that the sealed unit has failed.
The seal breaks. The argon gas leaks out. The window loses a major chunk of its thermal efficiency.
Don’t let climbing heating bills eat into your budget. Recover your home’s thermal efficiency by fitting perfectly sealed new windows.

Put your hand near the window edges on a windy day. Cold air coming through? The seals have worn away.
Draught proofing strips give a temporary measure, but they’re essentially a sticking plaster on a problem that will only deteriorate as the rubber keeps degrade.

Got windows that jam, won’t lock properly, or just refuse to play along? That’s a security risk and an insulation issue rolled into one. Warped frames, worn hinges, and failed mechanisms all tell you the window has reached the end of its working life.
The single-point catches on older windows don’t match up with the multi-point locking systems on modern windows. Throw in toughened glass, and your property has a proper security upgrade.

Your windows are where a large share of your home’s heat escapes. That thin bridge between you and the outside elements makes a difference more than most people expect.
Double glazing from years ago is a thing of the past, and the energy ratings will be far below what’s achievable today, even if the spec was good when first fitted.
New double glazed windows and doors will guard your home from high energy bills.

Rosehill homes come in all styles and types, and the right window choice depends on your building, the room, and how you occupy it.
A full lineup of windows and doors, double glazed and triple glazed, is ready from The Advanced Group, including uPVC casement, sash, tilt and turn, and top hung styles, all supplied and fitted by our team.

Perhaps the most popular window type in the UK, casement windows are side-hinged and open outwards, which makes them great for ventilation and simple to clean from inside.
Modern build or traditional property, casement windows complement the lot. A wide selection of colours and finishes is on offer, and the woodgrain effects replicate the look of timber without any of the maintenance or warping worries.
Our sliding sash windows are designed to replicate the appearance of original wooden sash frames, while offering modern levels of thermal efficiency and protection.
Proportions, sight lines, and opening mechanism all match the traditional look. Great for conservation areas or keeping your property’s character.

Tilt and turn windows are really handy! They tilt inward at the top for safe ventilation and swing fully inward on a side hinge for easy cleaning.
If you are in an upper-floor flat, these are a fantastic option because cleaning the outside of the glass from a ladder just isn’t realistic.
The tilt function provides airflow without safety risks. Especially useful for families with young children.

Top hung windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom, making them a sensible choice for ventilation while helping to keep rain out.
They’re often used in bathrooms, kitchens, stairwells, bay window arrangements, and other spaces where privacy and airflow are equally valued.

French windows are full-length windows that open outward just like French doors.
They perform well in pairs and can be paired with sidelights to open up a wide opening with glass and natural light.

There are good reasons why The Advanced Group specialises in uPVC frame materials.
Scottish weather is harsh, and uPVC is made to be hardwearing and tough to wild, windy, and wet weather. Unlike timber frames, uPVC won’t have the same warping or rot problems.
Beyond that, uPVC offers the benefit of being low maintenance.
Soapy water and a cloth. That’s all it takes to get uPVC looking fresh.
Perhaps most significantly, our uPVC windows offer strong levels of energy performance. Constructed with multi-chambered uPVC, some of our frames achieve a U-value as low as 0.8 W/m2K, working to recover energy efficiency across your house.
On top of all that, uPVC double glazing is also the most cost-effective option on the market.
This means you can often choose higher-spec glazing without breaking the budget. We also supply glazed uPVC doors, including uPVC doors, composite doors, and patio doors to match.
Cold, wet, and windy. That’s Scotland for a fair part of the year.
In such a weather pattern, the energy performance of your windows has a noticeable effect on your heating costs and the overall cosiness of your house day to day.
The thermal efficiency of a window is assessed by its U-value.
The lower the figure, the less heat escapes through the glass and frame. Scottish building regulations currently set a maximum U-value of 1.6 W/m2K for replacement windows.
Our standard double glazed windows achieve 1.2 W/m2K, and our premium models can reach values as low as 0.8 W/m2K. That’s superior double glazing and triple glazing that works twice as well as the regulatory minimum.
The difference appears on your energy bills.
A-rated energy-efficient windows and doors, fitted with argon gas filled sealed units and low-E glass coatings, work by pushing heat back into the room while continuing to let light through.
If you’re moving from old single-glazed sash windows or early double glazing from the 1990s, you could see a noticeable drop in your heating spend within the first winter.
While many double glazing companies in Rosehill supply entry-level products, few can compare with the calibre of the windows and doors we install.
We get asked about triple glazing regularly.
With an extra pane of glass, triple glazing provides better insulation and greater noise control.
Exposed area. Up a hill. Facing north. Near a busy road or under a flight path. If any of those sounds like your property, The Advanced Group is on hand to talk you through the advantages of triple glazing.

We appreciate that new windows represent a significant purchase, and paying for them in full all at once isn’t always feasible.
So we provide 0% APR and up to 4 years of interest free credit. Simple.
It means you can get the windows you deserve through helping you spread the cost of your new windows and doors in a way that works for you.
